SHORELINE MASTER PROGRAM UPDATE - October 17, 2011

The next meeting of the Shoreline Committee is planned for 9am on Wednesday October 19, 2011 at Town Hall.  After that meeting, new versions of the various Shoreline Master Program documents will be available for public review and comment.

 

SHORELINE MANAGEMENT PROGRAM UPDATE - September 26, 2011

At its September 26th meeting, the Planning Commission created a Study Committee to review the current draft of the Hunts Point Shoreline Master Program as well as the those of other cities in our vicinity.  This committee will make recommendations to the Planning Commission that will assist in further refining the Hunts Point SMP.  Committee members are Mayor Fred McConkey, Councilmember Ted Frantz, Planning Commissioner Rod Olson, Peter Powell, and Dan Temkin.  Each of these individuals has already devoted a considerable amount of time and energy to studying the proposed SMP for Hunts Point as well as those for other cities on Lake Washington and Lake Sammamish.

Committee meetings will be working sessions held at Town Hall on the dates listed below and are open to the public.

The Hunt Point Shoreline Master Program Draft has been reorganized into a format that makes it easier to read and understand.  The content is the same as in the August 8, 2011 draft below.  To view this draft, please click here.

The Planning Commission and the Town Council continue to work on the program and welcome your attendance at any of the upcoming meetings. August 8, 2011 Working Draft
